old apt, chips and guac were a necessity of mine when i had people over for drinking. this was a fun night if i remember correctly. 

i feel asleep on the bus today, i was on the aisle and the guy at the window had to nudge me to wake me :/ sorriez 

then when i got downtown to transfer, i was walking up the stairs outta the bus tunnel and i somehow slipped and fell and hit me knee (cap) and now there is a horizontal line (more like a welt) on it. 

BUT marybeth and i went out to dinner (thai) and it was BOMB.

 i am (smart)phone-less, and it sucks, using an old nokia flip phone, SO SATISFYING flipping that thing down (like a boss) after a call.

i always go back and forth about it. and even as i just wrote that title, now that i’m down here in the body, i’m thinking i won’t want to be a 76 year old with a tattoo on my side. 

but i also want one so bad! i know what i’d get, and its the same idea i’ve had for a few years now. i feel like that’s a good sign?

my mom’s birthday is today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she’s nice, and i like her, like duh, i love her and realize she is my mother and birthed/raised me ….blah blah blah. but she’s also funny and sassy and caring and one of those people who you’d bring to a party when you needed a cool chatty friend to keep you from feeling super awkward. realizing and appreciating what she has done/does for me as i get older. 

we went out to dinner and for pre-dinner drinks, she ordered a gin and tonic (with extra lime, same as me!) and i had WHITE wine (which i never have, but it was delish) and my dad had decalf coffee. pretty excited to sleep in 7.5 minutes and have a one glass wine nights sleep. 

in other news my phone died. it charged over night and should have turned on and stuff, but just never did… and still will not. suxxxxx

and ej got an internship at a record label in ballard, so that’s great and so is he and good for him. maybe now that i have a musical connection i can finally meet beyonce
